Cheap Blinds

I am opening up a new shop and looking for some cheap blinds.
Not after any style in particular but something that looks nice and is affordable.

We’re putting the house up for sale but it would be too much of a hassle to clean the blinds that have been hanging here for over 10 years. Wouldn’t it be easier to just replace with cheap blinds, please tell me where to find some in southern california
this may work. That price doesn’t include the valance but it wouldn’t be as hard to clean and still use the valance we already have. And it does seem real affordable until you consider the larger area to be covered.. Based on the sizes I input, it will cost ~ 5. I don’t know if that is a good price

the paper is,im just getting a4 sheets of black card and sticking them togethermso it can fold away,what gsm would i need to block out light,or if anyone has any blackout blinds or materiak or even black card,i would be very grateful for any donations

Nobody turns any lights on on the evening and the blinds or drapes always seem to be closed during the day. All the Peeping Toms have left the area.

They are so expensive in the shops

We’re having some problems cooling our house. My husband says it’s because we need a new heater unit (forced air oil heater) and it’s not blowing the air. I say it’s becuase we need to reposition ducts that were covered or disconnected when we redid the kitchen and the house is so hot because the sun beats in the sliding glass doors all afternoon and the only working vent comes out behind the stove and then the hot air goes all through the house and the remaining working vents (3) can’t keep the house cool (it’s a small house, but there should be 6-10 working vents). He says air should be blowing quite rapidly out the vents. I’ve never experienced a central air system where air came flying out the vents, it usually slowly flows out. I know we need to replace our heater by winter, but I think a set of blinds for the window and fixing the ducts and vents is the answer for now (and cheaper, too!). Can anyone give me an opinion from a heating/air conditioning professional standpoint?

I bought cheap vinyl mini blinds for my bedroom and they are 1/2 and inch too wide. They are not the ones Home Depot will trim so I want to ask my son to do it but I dont know what saw blade to use. I have seen them cut blinds there before so I know he can use his chop saw.

Im wanting too buy colored contacts from the internet but some people say it can make you go blind or harm your eyes. If they do is there an website were you can buy safe eye color contacts if so please tell me. ( Preferably cheap contacts )

We are setting up our new house and we looked at the option of blinds for the windows. We do not like the idea of horizontal blinds, they are not only cheap in quality but I have heard that they also lose their shape and form after a few times of pulling up and down! We looked at really nicely made vertical blinds, the question is that has anyone of you ever had a problem with vertical blinds? Do they also lose their shape and twist after a few times of being pulled back and forward? Do they let the light in (I have heard that they never fully cover the window because even little wind can cause the space between them to open, I was thinking that we should get overlapping ones if that seemed to be a problem for any of you). Please let me know any other problems or suggestions regarding the blinds and which type of window do they suit the most. Thanks a bunch in advance.

My new house has a lean-to conservatory full of glass. Hence, privacy is near to zero. As it overlooks a shared drive, my neighbours and ourselves have a privacy concern. I intend not to rebuild it at huge costs.
Hence is it possible to change the glass on one side to an opaque glass or put UPVC panels instead of glass on the side of the neighour.
Or is blinds a cheaper option?
I need good looks for the conservatory but at a medium cost.

In my apartment, I have a wall that faces Northwest, and this wall is composed of 90% glass, covered with metal blinds. The window is about 8 feet wide and 6 feet high.

When I leave for work around 7am, I leave my thermostat on 80. And when I come home around 5pm, it is about 80, but it takes about 3-4 hours to cool down to 70 degrees.

I’ve called Maintenance, and they put more freon in, and changed my air filter, which is yielding better results.

However, I can’t help but think maybe either the windows are the culprit. With that said, these cheap-looking metal blinds seem effective at blocking out direct sunlight.

Would buying some thick curtains be the cure-all to my problem and make my apartment wonderfully cool? After all, the average high temperature here has been 99-101 for the past 3 weeks.

Is it worth 0 to buy curtains to make my apartment completely pitch-black dark? Then I’ll have to turn on the lights, which consume electricity too.

Any thoughts?

I see these websites about thermal curtains talk about how they help keep in the warmth, but I don’t care about winter time. The RealFeel Temperature is 114 outside!
